Madonna International Print Exchange returns to the US for Two Exhibitions

Greetings everyone,
The Madonna International Print Exchange has returned from Central America, Guatemala,  to the US and will be exhibited in two venues in Illinois. We are seeking more venues for the show, so if you know if a place, please contact us at ochosieditions@gmail.com

The  exhibits are located at:

Benedictine University, 5700 College Rd, Kindlon hall, 1st floor, Lisle, IL ,
starting November 12 through December 28.

Burning Bush Gallery, located on Main Street, in Wheaton,  IL. An opening reception is scheduled for next weekend, Sunday, November 18, from 1-3 pm.  See the information of that exhibit below. Everyone is encouraged to come see both shows, and to participate in the reception next Sunday at the Burning Bush Gallery.  Hope to see you there, and pictures of the exhibits will be posted soon.

Ochosi Editions’
“Madonna International Print Exchange
November 18 – December 2, 2012


Sixty-five artists from 33 states and 7 foreign countries (from The United States, Poland, Canada, The Netherlands, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Cuba) participated in this inaugural exchange based upon the theme of the Madonna, or the ‘mother’. The exchange was organized by, Teresa J. Parker, Director of Ochosi Editions.

Artists were invited to make an image in traditional and experimental print media, and thus realized works created through woodcut, linocut, etching, silkscreen, lithography, monoprint, collage, computer digital, and digital photography.

The exchange has already been exhibited in Central America and will also be shown at Benedictine University November 12 through December 28.
